Massachusetts Police Shooting Team

​The mission of the Massachusetts Police Shooting Team (MPST) is to increase accountability and survivability in law enforcement across the Commonwealth by promoting practical firearms training through participation in competitive shooting sports. 

The MPST will accomplish its mission by focusing team training narrowly on the development of speed and accuracy, with proven principles of shooting in mind. The team will test and ultimately show the efficacy of those training priorities at competitive shooting matches in various leagues across the United States, to include the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA), Practical Competition Shooting League (PCSL), the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) and the Precision Rifle Series (PRS).

The MPST’s end state is a more prepared, more responsible law enforcement capability and ultimately, a safer Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
